As the CMO of PPB I have had the pleasure of working alongside my mother Susan Brown.
My first project was the designing of our organization's logo.
My next project was reaching out to local news outlets in the hopes that we would have our story shared on their platforms. We were successful in this and have been featured by local news networks and newspapers.
My work also includes the building and maintaining of our website and LinkedIn profile. There are constant updates to our press and events pages. Most recently I installed an option to our website that allows people to donate to us directly without leaving the site. That being said, we love Venmo donations.
As PPB spreads across new towns and neighborhoods, news outlets have found us without me reaching out. I see that as a total win. At first I needed to bring us to their attention and hope that they feature us. Now Susan is frequently reached out to by news outlets for interviews.
Purple Pantry Boxes has grown steadily over its 3 year life and I am proud to be a part of that.
The mission now is to edit and finish production of a PPB Documentary that I filmed while home this past summer. When finished the documentary will be used to spread our message as well as secure further funding as the organization applies for new grants.
